Dear God,
I have been reminded several times this week that “they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Is 40:31) I have not fainted yet, but I have been weary. I do not know why things are moving so slowly. I do not know why You are asking me to go through this challenge, but I know that You have a reason. I can not see it now, but maybe You will show me the reason, maybe not. I have asked You to help me through it and You have been faithful. You took me through the darkness and restored my resolve to keep going. For that I am thankful. I have a long journey still to travel and I am still waiting for that moment of rest. Restore my soul and send me Your strength to continue on the road. I can not make it to the end without You. I am waiting on You, Lord. I will not ask for patience.I will not worry. I will not ask that You move things along my schedule, rather follow what You have set for me. I will not doubt Your wisdom and I will follow the direction You have set out before me. I do not want my desires to stop Your work that must be done through me. Thy will be done in my life for Your Glory. In the name of my Father God, my Savior Jesus and my comforter the Holy Spirit. Amen.
I like this Aunt Lori.
Thank you. It is a lesson that I am struggling to learn, so I am praying through it.
Very wise…..
